Current Understanding

❖ There is an urgent need in Belize for medical equipment and supplies to support

the doctors that are currently providing services - both domestic and on

humanitarian missions.

❖ Technology in Belize is behind current US

➢ This allows for items considered ‘old technology’ to be given new lives as cutting edge in Belize.

❖ Website is underperforming.

❖ Corporate entity is not fully staffed nor supported.

❖ Fundraising is below expectations

Suggested Course of Action

❖ Establishing relationships with professional agencies to outsource roles to rather

than burden CPF with unmanageable and crushing overhead.

❖ Manage the overall engagements and individual projects of these agencies for cost

effective, on time, on budget, and fully compliant.

❖ Provide ongoing advice and guidance through the growth of CPF.

❖ Provide updates on all projects weekly, and ad hoc with a 24hr turn around.

❖ NaCl will adjust role as CPF grows and permanent placements are made.

Website & SEO

NaCl will negotiate and broker a contractual relationship with national leaders of

service in this arena. The services will include:

❖ Engaging a Graphic designer, SEO professional, and Website company

❖ Website re-design to modern practices and improved performance

❖ Maximization of message based on merging the talents of both providers

❖ Linking to donation campaigns   ❖ Improve the database population

❖ Improved promotion of events.

Marketing

NaCl will engage, oversee, and manage the process to mine the data gained from the

website and other databases to improve name recognition from the desired

demographic targets.

Additional work will be provided in gaining marketing through use of traditional and

social media.

Governance

NaCl will aid CPF in the growth and development of the corporation itself.

❖ Locate and engage a low cost high quality CPA firm to provide regular reporting

and guidance for growth, along with proper reporting and regular filing.

❖ Develop board positions and highlight candidates to provide insight.

❖ Lead in the sourcing of all professional relationships inclusive of insurance and

legal representation.

including the development of opportunities

Engage and establish a process that will generate regular fundraising through

Planning and execution of the event in conjunction with existing leadership to make

this a strong success both in terms of awareness and financial success.

Proposed Fee Schedule

Option 1

❖ Six Month Contract   ❖ $100/hr (billed at 1/4hr)   ❖ 1% of net amount raised.   ❖ $2000 retainer.

Option 2

❖ One Year Contract   ❖ $60/hr (billed at 1/4hr)   ❖ 5% of net amount raised.  ❖ $2400 retainer.

*net amount raised equals gross receipts less service fees from the platform used to gather the funds. Does not include other overhead or specific use fees.

Management: Initial $2,000 ongoing monthly $2,000

Graphic Design: Initial is $1,000 and then on an ad hoc basis.

Accounting: Initial is $1,500 ongoing monthly $500 - depending on how much backlog work needs to be done, that will impact the initial fees.

Website: Initial is $1,500 ongoing monthly $100

Marketing: Initial is $500 ongoing monthly $100 - this has a huge swing possible based on volume of information and number of blasts and mailings.  Does not include postage for anything mailed.

SEO: I have received mostly 'pass' if we aren't looking at at least a 6mo commitment - because it just takes that long to get results.  Most suggested a year.  We can do a couple of things, one is hire a writer to review and make sure we have the right words on the website and list some for the ongoing articles.  Additionally, I discovered that Google Grants may provide us some use for a SEO based campaign, estimated at $10K per month.  Again the writer could help craft not only the campaign but the grant request as well.  Estimated at $1500.

Ongoing Campaign: This is going to take a bit of discussion - number of campaigns, types, merchandise - but once we get the idea behind it, we should be ok.  A self funding effort.  I would estimate $2000 initial.
